In the third quarter of 2025, several travel and local apps have shown notable trends in Portugal on the Android platform. According to Sensor Tower, these apps have exhibited varying patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

FlixBus: Book Bus Tickets saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 6.3K in early August. Despite fluctuations, downloads remained above 4K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a steady increase, reaching over 107K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 5K in early July to around 3.4K by the end of September. However, active users remained strong, peaking at over 559K in late July before settling around 441K at the quarter's close.

Skyscanner Flights Hotels Cars had consistent download numbers, with a minor peak at approximately 4K mid-August. Active users steadily rose, ending the quarter at about 71K.

Rede Expressos demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads, reaching over 4.1K in early September. Active users grew from 77K in June to about 82K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Google Earth maintained stable download figures, hovering around 3K to 3.7K throughout the quarter. Active users showed some variability, peaking at nearly 60K in late June and ending at approximately 44K.
